Welcome 2016!

A new year has begun. As we welcome this time; let us not forget to keep all those resolutions we make on this day. So many people start off with great resolutions and do very well the first few weeks. It's coming to the several months that people give up on them. Why make a new year resolution if you're going to quit on it? Well, it's easier said than done.

Physically: If you're going to follow the annual ritual of "Losing Weight" try eating healthier first. It's a common mistake many make. When you begin slowly to change your diet, you're not shocking your body into dramatic changes. Try adding more vegetables, fruits, whole grains & lean meats to your diet first. Do your best to stay away from "fast food".  Also please don't sign up for an annual gym membership if you're going to stop after several months. It becomes a financial mistake when you don't commit. This is something MANY do. I once fell culprit. Begin with slow steps into making your body healthier to lose weight.

Mentally: Let this year be filled with more joy, success, love and stop the hate in the world. Don't fall into the depths of negativity on social media or with those particular people around you. There isn't no need to respond to anyone's rude or hateful comments just to voice your opinion. Yes we all have that right but when it's done on social media it's a lure into negative attention. You will have started off the new year in bad way.

This year should be HOPEFUL filled with unknown happenings; good or bad. If you know what you want out of life go out and achieve it. Allow this year to be the year that you conquer your wishes and dreams or fears. Stay POSITIVE throughout this entire year; even if it's not going as you want it to be.

Family: Only you can determine if you want to have your family in your life. Simply keep in mind Life is too short to be filled with animosities with family members. Let it go, forgive so you can live happily. It's better to cry for someone while they're alive than false tears when you're gone.

Finances: Make wise decisions, don't act on impulses, purchase what you need not what you can't afford.

Relationships: If you're in one keep on doing whatever it is that you have been to keep it. If you're single don't lose hope there is someone for everyone.

Everything Else: Live life each and everyday as if it is your last. Life is short and tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Don't worry about the things or people you can't control. Focus on what works for you & your family and be happy.

With all this said; I wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR & WELCOME 2016!
