Interesting Results

If you have been following my past two blogs or vent's I'll call them. You will completely understand what I'm talking about.

 

Well, yesterday was Friday & I was on a roll; nonstop work. I think I only took less than half hour to eat (re-fuel) and get back to work. This was my choice. I needed to get a lot done and I did. I was talking outloud & my staff & boss were laughing at me. I was sliding from chair to chair, pc to pc, answering 2 phones (different lines of course) at a time. At one point I even had to step back for a moment because I lost my train of thought. I completely went blank. Guess I was pushing myself but in a way setting the example to my staff; who seemed to follow my lead.

 

It was a productive Friday for all of us. I ended up staying till 6:30pm and one of my girls did also; when our day ends at 5pm. I enjoyed seeing enthusiasm, professionalism & most of all TEAMWORK. It is somewhat amazing at the results received when you enforce some ASSERTIVENESS on rules & policies. I can only hope that their efforts to KEEP their employment will continue.

 

I have set my goals and made plans to succeed with this company. If not with the staff I have then perhaps with new ones; but I will not fail for others incompetence, lack of energy or desire to keep yourself employed.

 

I will not let anyone discourage me from being the boss of them because they simply don't like to take orders or work.

 

Now it's Saturday & I am at home relaxing and will enjoy my weekend...... )0(
