A week has gone by & it feels like I still haven't accomplished anything at all for my wedding. I started my new job & I am enjoying it to the max. It is great & the girls are amazing. I truly do hope this is the place I will retire from.
The week began ok but then my engine light went on & now my thermostat & cooler sensor need to be replaced & my left headlight out. Well I got the headlight fixed. I was suppose to get many things fixed yesterday & due to the rain couldn't do shit. Oh wait, I did manage to go to the reception hall & check on the parking & size of tables oval or square. I also got a dress! So yes I did manage some things. I will be leaving work an hour early to go with him downtown to get the marriage license so that I can set the appointment for the court ceremony on the 29th at a different courthouse.
Once I do that I can place the order for the invitations. Oh no I have to wait because I am about to email this non-demonational assembly I used to go to to see if the new pastor can marry us in a small ceremony this would be great & a wonderful blessing to be unioned in front of a man of cloth. (I still see it that way) So I will be waiting for a response from them.
I have the food, hall, cake, dress. I need the invitations, bouquet/ boutineirre, liquor, linen, centerpieces & wedding favors? I guess. On the favors I have no idea on what to put on the tables. Can I just put a chocolate bar with a laced ribbon that says our names & date of wedding or is that tacky?? LOL, for that matter do I even HAVE TO put centerpieces on the tables that are clearly going to be filled with alcoholic beverages not too mention take up more room on the table itself. LMAO.. Ok I am really losing focus. OH SHIT I just remembered we need to get wedding bands. DAM!
Well I am giving myself 30 days to get all this done! Which will leave me with a little over a week to fix any issues that may possibly come my way. Now let the fun continue. 41 days & counting..
