So, I have 49 days till my wedding & last night I received the horrible news of my location. The owner of the place called & apologized for the error, he had booked our reception on the same day of another event. UGH #!@ to say the least.
I have been staying positive throughout this whole process & said "Well, things happen". We did the next best thing & changed our date to the following week. NOPE! nothing available until next year. OUCH! Okay where do we go from here? Especially when you're on a very very tight budget & basically our original place was all we could actually afford. We couldn't think anymore. I stressed myself into a headache and went to bed last night.
Today we have been sitting all morning going over ideas & places to have our reception within our budget. No luck. At this point I feel like just continuing my original suggestion of going to city hall and be done with it. Shit he is a part time DJ maybe we should just go out to a club and invite everyone to the club with us. We wouldn't have to worry about cleaning anything up! LoL
So this is where I'm at today. Well I guess there was a reason why I hadn't send out the invitations yet. LMAO. I don't mean to sound like a neurotic person just have to laugh at it & remain positive.
Going to enjoy a glass of wine with my lunch. Will blog again soon............ Neena44.............
