So for many of you who were following me on my social media page know of what happened to me and the page. The internet world can be and is very frightening at times. I have learned so much over the years as a blogger. Everything and I do mean everything from the internet I've been taught very well by publishers. EXCEPT how to handle malware. Let's put it this way. Once you get this you're basically screwed. There is no way of recovering your work. Many people will disagree; more like hackers would.

I made several attempts at correcting what "I thought" was the problem. Wrong. I inquired help through technical support and was told they found the virus. What was more interesting to me is to how it got there. This all occurred on a social media business page. So when I was informed that it was malware. I asked questions of how to clean it up. "No can do" was all I got. Oh wait what? I wasn't taking that very well. I had this page up for a good 6 months and doing quite well. (This was after having a first page up for 5 years that was hacked). So yes I was pissed off. Well, after making changes to my url we waited to see if there would be any change. Not at all. I followed the guided instructions, changed my email, password and url within 2 minutes the "Fake Account Likes" kept coming in. It wouldn't stop. So tech support & facebook recommended I unpublish page, log out, try resetting my logins in 48 hours. Done. As soon as I logged back in BOOM the likes kept coming in. Facebook removed as many as they could but suggested the page be closed and deleted. DONE. My software support cleaned my pc and I am back in action. How did this happen?? All it took was ONE FAKE CORRUPT account that liked my page and filled it with the malware. WHY? I will never
know. The only thing I understood from facebook support was that this occurs when "Likes" are bought. I thought "BOUGHT?" who buys likes? So it was explained to me. WHOA. I know for a fact that I don't or won't pay for anyone to like my business. Well whomever or whatever it was had my email address, and used my URL from that page to do it. SO, with all this said and done. I have taken MORE precautions with all that than I ever have before. Whoever did this to my page. Well, you may have destroyed a page but you will not conquer what I do for a living. If anything you have only made me stronger. So, thank you.

With all this said and done. I URGE you all who are a must on social media to support your business. PLEASE take extra measures in providing yourselves with the best security certificates available to you. I did and will now continue forward...
